Item has helped protect new vehicle from typical scrapes when parallel parked. BumpShox shows some wear, front bumper still looks great after a year. Item did not leave marks on the bumper even after contact that set off alarm. Removed it along with license plate, wiped off dust and bumper looked as good as new.

Our car was hit while parked, and it got sandwiched between two other cars. The BumpShox took the hit! I was pleasantly surprised that it did, and grateful for it. If this weren't on the front bumper, we would have had to replace it. But thanks to this product, only the back bumper had to be replaced. The front bumper just needed to be readjusted. Amazing.

I purchased this after noticing scratches and dents in my front bumper. I had protection for the rear but never knew how to protect the front until I noticed this product on other vehicles. I immediately purchased this and have not noticed any damage since.
It seems very sturdy, comes with a set of screws although you should have one with the plates on the vehicle. I did use the ones that it came with as they seemed stronger. It does hide the numbers of the license plate slightly from the side, but who cares?
I would recommend this (and spikes and even a canon) on any vehicle on city streets, as well as rear bumper protection. Side/ corner protection is another product out there I have not got into yet...

This is a must have if you live in a place like Brooklyn. I frankly got annoyed with walking to my car and seeing that my license plate in my Maxima 2004 SE would always be bent by some A-HOLE in a Ford Explorer who uses my car as a frame of reference with his/her car when parking.
In the end this wonderful product protects me from you and you from me!
I use this in conjunction with the bumper bully titanium edition.
